From rustic campsites to sites with hookups as well as some beautiful state lodges, there are places to stay that match your sense of adventure!

Public areas for recreation and camping are scattered throughout Clay County. The Army Corps of Engineers operates 6 recreation areas at Dale Hollow and along its tributaries. The Recreation Areas offer different amenities including access to the water, picnic areas and overnight camping.

There are two state parks operated by the State of Tennessee and the State of Kentucky. Amenities at the State Parks include lodging, campsite, restaurants, some boat and bike rentals and, of course, access to the water.
