Dale Hollow Eagle Watch
Dale Hollow is the home of the one the largest wintering bald eagle populations in the area. Eagle Watch activities are held on the third and fourth Saturday of each January by the Army Corps of Engineers.
Eagle enthusiasts are transported by open barge in search of bald eagles. The eagle watch tours are free, but advance reservations are required. To reserve a spot, call the Corps Resource Managers Office on or after the Nov. 15 reservation date at (931) 243-3136. Tour spaces are limited and fill up quickly, so plan and call early. Each call is limited to eight persons per reservation.

The magnificent birds are most often seen in the winter and are truly a sight to behold.
